How it works

RustLookup uses the public Steam Web API and related public Rust-facing data sources to fetch player information. All information shown is based on data that is already publicly visible. Nothing is scraped from private profiles, stored long-term, or used for any purpose other than displaying results to the person doing the lookup.

Player data is cached briefly to keep response times fast and to stay within Steam API rate limits. Cached results are refreshed every 2 hours.

Who built this?

RustLookup was built by a Rust player who wanted a faster, cleaner way to check player profiles and access useful Rust planning tools without jumping between multiple sites. It's an independent project, not affiliated with Facepunch Studios or Valve.

Privacy

RustLookup only reads public data. We do not require any login, store personal information, or sell data. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
